  • Let the guests speak

Great premise and guests, but I wish the host would stop talking after she asks a question so the guest can answer fully. Not so helpful when a host is speaking over their guest. Again, though, good content and premise.

  • Liz Barlak episode

I've written before to say that this is simply one of the best podcast out there and that Gin is an incredible interviewer! However, the guest in this episode 504 is so judgmental and not genuine, and I wish she would be called out on it. She talks about over eaters anonymous and how no one in there was losing weight without stating that the point of OA is not to lose weight it is to get over your food addiction and love yourself. She said she went for a year and was the skinniest person there a... more

  • GLP-1 Hate

I have been following Gin for years and have listened to all her content. In the most recent episode, I heard her (again) speaking about GLP-1 injections disparingly as if everyone who takes them is taking the easy way out and doesn’t want to do the hard work.

This idea is so outdated. Diabetes is a disease and GLP-1s help to treat that disease. They are not a silver bullet and anyone who takes them must still “do the work” but they give people a fighting chance.

  • Poor Christoph Bamberg

If he even wants to come back on, I hope Gin invites him back and lets him speak for at least half the interview. I can only assume that because he's young she couldn't respect him. This interview was appalling.

Carla heard about IF via a Facebook ad and the simple app; she joined the community, switched to the Clean Fast, and gradually integrated IF into her weight-loss journey.
Episode 518: Christina
Q: What was a typical day like before IF, and how did you adapt as you learned?
She explains starting with breakfast and lunch, then experimenting with upish/downish days and eventually incorporating alternate-day patterns while staying active and maintaining weight through real-food choices.
Episode 516: John D'Ambrosio
Q: What brought you to intermittent fasting, and when did you start?
John describes starting in 2009 after seeing fasting approaches online, experimenting with an early 16:8 window and bodybuilding-inspired routines, then refining his method over the years to a clean fasting approach.
Episod 513: Jasmin
Q: What would you tell someone just starting out with intermittent fasting?
Start with a clear approach: open your window with a nutritionally dense, whole-food meal, then allow any other foods afterward; track progress with photos and simple tools, and don't panic if progress stalls—adjust for health changes or life factors.
