Wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to both of you.
I just completed my first 100 days of “hitting singles.”
I’m a 42 y.o. male, 5’10”, started at 247lbs, and I’m down to 202 (45 net lbs). I reintroduced creatine to my diet and have been doing lite resistance training so I’ve probably shed more than the 45 I see on the scale.
The knowledge gained, and intellectual motivation and optimizers you’ve provided has been an absolute game changer for me. I’ve listened to probably a 100 of your episo... more
Out of all the fasting podcasts I’ve listened to, yours is one (out of just two) of the very best. I gave several other podcasts a fair try—listened to quite a few episodes—but most left me disappointed. Some presented information that was simply wrong, or with little to no scientific backing. Others were filled with endless chatter and laughter but almost no substance.
Your podcast stands out because it consistently does the opposite. You ground your advice in solid science, not just anecdotes... more
I left a review and 5 stars for you guys and the show back at Episode 277. Letting you know that I am still on track. I am 70 and have now been fasting for 13 months. I am 130 lbs down and have gotten under 150 lbs!
I have added walking (3-5 miles daily) and resistance bands. I still implement the “actionable” tricks and tips you share, most
notably and consistently the use of ACV and post meal walks. I love your encouraging tone. My complaint? Now that I “binge listened” to all the episodes, I ... more
This could be an awesome podcast but Dr Scott loves listening to himself ramble and he often winds up yelling. To make this palatable, Scott needs to chill out and Tommy needs more airtime.
Hi. I'm a 66 year old guy with four years of fasting in the bag. Lost 65 lbs at my peak but have been hanging off the wagon for about two years. I need to trim about 20 again. Discovered your podcast while on a solo cross-country drive this week (where I'm working on a seven day fast) I've absorbed about a dozen great shows and you have pulled me completely back into the game. Love the details, granularity, specific, whatever you call 'em. Thank you! I'm back!!!!
