  • Game changer

As a 66 year old runner who has in recent years felt like maybe it’s time to hang up the running shoes and accept I’m never going to improve or find running as enjoyable as it used to be, finding this podcast has been a game changer for me! The advice on taking easy runs easy, the 80/20 advice plus really doing the strength sessions has been so useful and I am actually enjoying my running again.

  • Realistic and optimistic

As someone who recently hit 50 and realised I needed to change the way I train this podcast is a massive help as is the masterclass.

I have in the last year cut 15 minutes off my half marathon time and my speed work sessions are approaching speeds I last ran almost 30 years ago all with no injury layoffs.

The principles of trained they suggest are working for me and make sense. I now run less than I did 18 months ago but am improving massively.
