  • It grows on you

I can’t remember what episode I listened to first but I didn’t think I would listen to many more (I probably just picked the wrong first one). However I gave it another chance and quickly found myself binging through the back catalog and really enjoy it.

It did lose a little something without Steve but I still find the topics really useful and it is obvious chris has a great deal of coaching knowledge and passion for the sport all around. Totally worth giving a shot if you are into distance ru... more

  • The best running podcast

I started back into running at age 60 after many years of on and off running hampered by recurring injuries. I have listened to a dozen other running podcasts (and some are very good) but have found Chris to be the clearest instructor on the sport . I have learned so much and now have run 2 half marathons (my first in 40 years) - both under 2 hours. Give it a listen if you want to get serious into running.

  • Every episode is my favorite

I have a really big problem with this podcast, it’s too good! More episodes than not are worth listening to two or three times. I’ve been a high performing endurance athlete for more than twenty years and still learn tons every episode.
