  • Hate the new format

For those of you looking for something better than this go check out Alex Hormozi’s live Q&A YouTube. From someone that started listening to this podcast from the literal beginning, the new format is beyond horrible. I can’t believe this but I’m about to unsubscribe

  • New format 👎

Edit: Not digging the new format. Nothing against the new host, but the foundation of the show was the Q and A with real business owners. Now it is generic sound bites. Also between the cadence of the hosts voice and the weird background noises (Sounds like little cartoon bubbles are popping up and wooshing around) - the new show sounds like a kids youtube program. Transitioning the host is understandable, but changing the entire format of the show?? Down to 3 stars.

  • New format sucks

This used to be a great show with real world issues being solved. Now the format stinks and it’s just random simple topics in business being told. Bring back the old format.

  • New format isn’t working

The call in show with real world advice from someone who actually built a business was the whole show. The new format doesn’t work.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Leadership Guide to Surviving the Loneliness Epidemic
Q: What are the early warning signs that loneliness is affecting a leader?
Look for sleep disturbances, existential worry about the world, and a sense that you are alone even in a crowd; these are body-level signals that you lack a trusted support network.
Should We Rebrand Our Legacy Business?
Q: Is it wise to rebrand the logo of an established business, and how can it be done without losing trust?
The host advises testing with five to ten logo options, ensuring a visible tie to the old logo, and making minimal but meaningful changes (color nods, design cues) so customers recognize the connection and trust isn't broken.
Selling Things Is Hard Until You Learn This
Q: What should you look for when hiring a sales team member?
Look for grit, willingness to learn, personal development, curiosity about the product and customers, and the ability to ask hard questions; interview with the mindset of learning from the candidate and assessing how they would handle objections.
Selling Things Is Hard Until You Learn This
Q: What is sales really, and what is it not?
Sales is about understanding the other person's needs, asking good questions, and helping them get unstuck; it's not about forcing someone to do something they don't want, and objections are opportunities to uncover the real barriers.
Is My Husband Getting Screwed Over by His Dad?
Q: Okay, what happens to ownership if one sibling isn't involved anymore, and should her money have to be put in if the husband did?
Renegotiate the deal to separate ownership from day-to-day involvement, potentially allowing a buyout or adjusted equity while ensuring everyone is paid fairly for their actual contributions; avoid enforcing an outdated 51/49 split if not practical, and establish an estate plan for future transfers.
