  • Hate the new format

For those of you looking for something better than this go check out Alex Hormozi’s live Q&A YouTube. From someone that started listening to this podcast from the literal beginning, the new format is beyond horrible. I can’t believe this but I’m about to unsubscribe

  • New format 👎

Edit: Not digging the new format. Nothing against the new host, but the foundation of the show was the Q and A with real business owners. Now it is generic sound bites. Also between the cadence of the hosts voice and the weird background noises (Sounds like little cartoon bubbles are popping up and wooshing around) - the new show sounds like a kids youtube program. Transitioning the host is understandable, but changing the entire format of the show?? Down to 3 stars.

  • New format sucks

This used to be a great show with real world issues being solved. Now the format stinks and it’s just random simple topics in business being told. Bring back the old format.

  • New format isn’t working

The call in show with real world advice from someone who actually built a business was the whole show. The new format doesn’t work.

The Real Reason Your Team Won’t Level Up
Q: What do you think is essential for preserving the founder's culture as you grow?
Documenting core values, embedding them in every meeting, and making them visible through walls, shirts, and rewards ensures the culture remains tangible and central to all decisions, even as you add new people.
The Real Reason Your Team Won’t Level Up
Q: Have you seen that dynamic where promoting a strong technician to a leadership role results in a poor leader and the loss of a good technician?
Yes, we have seen that happen; it highlights the need to support potential leaders with training and alternative career paths that leverage their strengths without forcing them into roles they can't succeed in right away.
The Real Reason Your Team Won’t Level Up
Q: What's the biggest challenge you're facing right now? What would you like to talk about?
I'm trying to figure out how to build up leadership or teach leadership in an industry where most supervisors got to their positions because of technical skills, not people management, and how to ensure leadership development scales as the company grew.
How To Grow Your Team And Scale Your Business (A Coaching Session)
Q: What is the biggest challenge in growing leadership within your nonprofit, and how are you currently addressing it?
The core challenge is developing internal leaders who can be effective without being in the same location every day; the focus is on mentorship, alignment with core values, and creating a simple, scalable training approach that works across a rural, dispersed staff.
My Leadership Team Has Become Lazy (What Do I Do Now?)
Q: How do I address the issue of over-promoted leaders who aren't performing at the level their salaries imply?
Dave Ramsey advises facing the issue directly in private, setting clear expectations, applying accountability, and using a structured leadership development plan with reading, training, and aggressive consequences for continued underperformance. He emphasizes that you hire motivated people and fire the ones who aren't, while maintaining care for the individuals and the organization.
