  • Incisive insights and a huge heart

Diann is an amazing host who always finds a way to bring the best out of her guests. Her experience as a psychotherapist shines through and gives real meat to her insights. Cannot recommend highly enough, whether you own a business or not. Not to mention she has an amazingly calm and soothing, yet still lively delivery in the way she talks. It’s hard to explain, but just another factor that makes the podcast so engaging and invigorating…yet also soothing?

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

"Somebody Stole My Sh*t!" : Copycats, Counterfeiters, and How to Protect What You've Built
Q: What steps did you take to protect your brand, and what would you tell other ADHD entrepreneurs about IP protection?
I started with copyrighting my content, then pursued trademarks in key markets, and invested in monitoring services like MarkVision to take down counterfeit listings. The experience underscored the importance of proactive IP protection, even when it seems expensive or unnecessary at first.
"Somebody Stole My Sh*t!" : Copycats, Counterfeiters, and How to Protect What You've Built
Q: What did you feel when you discovered counterfeit copies were being sold, and how did you respond?
It felt violatin,g as if someone acted against my will. I chose to defend my work publicly, explain costs and materials, and justify the pricing while increasing protections and monitoring to stop further damage.
"Somebody Stole My Sh*t!" : Copycats, Counterfeiters, and How to Protect What You've Built
Q: Dani, for listeners who don't know you yet, what is the anti-planner and what made you decide to create it?
The anti-planner grew from recognizing that ADHD entrepreneurs need a tool that helps with real emotional states, not just a rigid system. It combines practicality with compassionate design—over a hundred strategies organized by feelings to help people act when overwhelmed, burnt out, or disorganized.
Myths About Virtual Assistants That Prevent ADHD Entrepreneurs From Getting The Help They Need
Q: What should an ADHD-friendly VA onboarding look like?
A focus on regulated communication, clear expectations, prioritization tools (like an octopus-style framework), and a team approach that supports executive functioning rather than expecting the client to manage everything alone.
Myths About Virtual Assistants That Prevent ADHD Entrepreneurs From Getting The Help They Need
Q: What are the most common myths that keep ADHD entrepreneurs from hiring a VA?
The belief that a bad solution is worse than no solution at all, and the idea that any solution will do if one is desperate, lead to poor onboarding and failed outcomes; better to seek a solution that truly fits the ADHD mindset and communicate needs without shame.
