I’m a big fan of Dr.Jud’s work and was excited to come across his podcast. I gave a few of them I try and while I appreciated the content, I found it very disconcerting when hearing AI voices talk about their struggles, cravings, and habits. Of all things that could be turned over to AI, the topic of Dr. Jud’s work just don’t lend themselves to it. It feels quite alienating. I hope to come back in a few months to find that this has changed.
The voices are AI & it’s obvious. I find that I do not enjoy AI podcasts or audiobooks. It’s unfortunate because content from Dr Brewer is of interest to me. I stopped listening after the first few episodes. I tried again and just couldn’t stand it. I agree with another reviewer that there’s the feel of a condescending infomercial.
I found Jud’s work grounding but now I’m listening to a computer’s fabrication of his thoughtful words with almost patronizing banter . Very unsettling despite all the potentially meditative content.
I’ve enjoyed Dr jud on other podcasts, and respect his work, but this just straight up sounds like an infomercial. Skip it and look for other resources.
I enjoy what Dr. Jud has to say but find the too-fast conversation style with all the “uh huh” banter really distracting and often give up after a few minutes.
