Stem Cells Reverse Aging: What Doctors Aren't Telling You | #182
Q: What are the three or four different stem cell modalities you stack in your clinic, and how do they differ from overseas approaches?
The clinic prioritizes birth-tissue (umbilical cord) derived cells as primary due to their younger biology and minimal manipulation, combining them with bone marrow and fat-derived cells when appropriate to balance safety and efficacy. Overseas methods often involve expanding cells in culture to large numbers, which can introduce more differentiation and regulatory complexity; in contrast, the birth-tissue approach emphasizes minimal manipulation and homologous use, reducing manipulation-related risks.
#179 -What 10 Years of Bipolar Misdiagnosis Actually Does to You
Q: What would you say to someone who is wondering about their mood and going through ups and downs?
Start by writing down all symptoms, daily routines, sleep, eating, and exercise, then bring this information to a trained professional to help determine a diagnosis and a personalized plan.
#178 - From Felon to Biohacker: The Wellness Revolution
Q: What motivates your approach to biohacking and personal health?
A belief in personal agency, ongoing learning, and the idea that there are multiple paths to health; he emphasizes questions, experimentation, and balancing science with practical lifestyle choices.
#178 - From Felon to Biohacker: The Wellness Revolution
Q: How did you rebuild your life after prison?
The guest describes taking full accountability, recognizing the need for change, and using that moment to pivot toward health, fitness, and education, which led to opportunities in media and a new wellness-focused career.
#173 - The Truth About Stem Cells: Sources, Safety, and Real Results
Q: What do you think people are getting wrong about stem cells?
Stem cells are not a single magic bullet; they are a broad lineage of cells with varying potentials. The most commonly used mesenchymal stem cells can reduce inflammation and support tissue repair, but the outcomes depend on dosage, delivery method, and patient-specific factors. It's important to tailor treatment, explain the science clearly, and set realistic expectations.
