I retired as an administrative assistant for a law enforcement agency. Part of what I miss the most is case conversations. This podcast and The Prosecutors: Legal Briefs fill that space. The Dark Humor episode provided excellent insight of why gallows humor is so necessary for sanity in the face of daily evil. Great job!
I love this podcast. It’s so great learning about the complex job of law enforcement and policing. Thank you for your efforts. Keep up the great work!
This podcast is so interesting. To hear from these detectives about the toll this line of work takes, really makes you appreciate law enforcement even more. The amount of professionalism they show in all of their interactions with victims and offenders alike, really is amazing. I am listening from New Zealand so it’s interesting hearing the differences in how things works.
