I’ve been a fishing guide in the Adirondacks for over 20 years and more recently a registered Maine Fishing Guide. Destination angler is the first podcast I go to when in the mood to listen about fishing. Great shows. Keep up the good work.
I would highly encourage listeners to checkout the Destination Angler Podcast. Steve is a talented host that interviews fly fishing guides about their exciting experiences on a variety of waters. As a angler himself, his passion and enthusiasm are evident to seek answers for his listeners that are considering to book new fishing adventures. more
Steve does a fantastic job at lining up great guests and provides great interviews with them. Always very informative podcasts where I’m able to soak in lots of useful information which makes me excited for trying new waters and applying techniques that are discussed. Thanks Steve for your quality show!
I have been a long time listener to the Destination Angler podcast. This is one of the best outdoors related podcasts on any platform hands down. Many other podcasts get boring over time, but Steve keeps the conversation going and is on to a new destination with great stories. To me if feels a lot like the book, The Optimist by David Coggins. Every episode paints new picture of an awesome fishery as told by the guides that know, love and work to preserve the watershed for future generations. more
There’s a good mix of guides and fishery experts that make the podcast interesting and informative. I’ve poured through several past episodes after finding the show.
