Enjoyed the scott episode. Nice to hear that some supporters understand the stadium won’t help the club. But the houses will make Ron’s family rich.
Came across this by accident. I loved it. As a SUFC fan living in Wales and not being able to attend many home games, this is essential listening for me. Lads discussing a subject passionately and giving me an insight into my club that I dont usually have. The team of the decade reminded me of so many players I'd forgotten about. Keep up the good work chaps.
The guys manage to get some great SUFC guests on board. One slight negative is that the pods are a little too long - an hour would be optimal.
Scott and Eden are excellent hosts and the quality of guests has been top class. They cover all aspects of football and don’t just focus on Southend United. They focus on mental health and everything that has an affect on footballers. It’s a great podcast and has helped get me through this troubling times. Well done lads!
Getting some great guests & I’ve enjoyed every podcast so far and looking forward to more. I only listen to this and Peter Crouch’s Podcast, which I think is a pretty big compliment.

Episodes frequently center on weekly performance, squad decisions, and the emotional side of following a lower-league club, with guests ranging from former players and executives to advocates for women's sport and local football initiatives. Notable is the podcast's emphasis on accessibility, banter, and a community feel—often highlighting grassroots campaigns, stadium culture, and fan engagement—making it a go-to for listeners seeking honest, first-hand perspectives from the club's ecosystem. A recurring strength is the ability to mix personal memories with practical insights about governance, fin... more
