  • My favorite new podcast

With only 10 episodes at the time of this writing.. I’m absolutely hooked and looking forward to the next. Great conversations with interesting people and topics, that flow naturally, as if I’m sitting and listening to friends talk over a coffee. Sometimes I know of the guest and sometimes I don’t, but I’ve learned it doesn’t matter as i’m always learning something new. After the podcast, I find myself looking for more information about the topics and people involved. Well done Mr. House, looki... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Roderick Wolgamott (Sky Cries Mary) - EP115 - The Creative Asylum
Q: Did it start as music? Did it start as poetry?
It started with writing plays in childhood, and then evolved into various creative outlets including music.
Roderick Wolgamott (Sky Cries Mary) - EP115 - The Creative Asylum
Q: How did you start building Treehouse? Where did that come from?
It's a non-traditional path. I started by drawing in watercolors what I wanted to build, and then a master carpenter helped bring those drawings to life.
Sluggo Cawley - EP113 - The Creative Asylum
Q: What is it about who you are, how you identify with yourself and the forces in your life that has always kind of pushed you along various creative paths?
I've become much more aware of community, how community is kind of what it's all about, reconnecting with people and meeting new people.
Sluggo Cawley - EP113 - The Creative Asylum
Q: Were you really thinking in terms of a book or were you just writing and recording all these experiences and memories that you had?
I think I was just writing and it was just a biography or an autobiography, and eventually had someone who was a friend of mine convince me to start writing a book.
Stuart Gray (Stu Spasm) - EP106 - The Creative Asylum
Q: How you gravitated towards sort of a different medium [for your sculptures]?
I work a lot on commissions. So someone's always like, 'Make me this person.'
