Wonderful podcast, well researched and told, even if the host does make me twitch every time he uses “phenomena” as a singular (which I assume is intentional).

  • Great podcast

Extremely enjoyable and informative for anyone interested in the history of science. I especially enjoy that he focuses on the broad scope of science history and doesn’t confine the topics to just one discipline. Im sure it is a lot of work to do the necessary research and put these episodes together. Please keep them coming!!! Highly recommended!!!

  • On the shoulders of giants

Gethin not only knows his subject well, he clearly has great affection for the history of science. He does a great job sharing the progress of history step by step from antiquity to modernity. Organizing what could become an overwhelming subjects into episodes that make sense of the complex topics at hand and giving a little colour to ensure the podcast not only informs but entertains.
