Child rights, human rights are universal, and they apply locally. The change happens in a community, and we support those local movements while amplifying their voices.

Q: What was your proudest success in your work, and what was the thing that you helped to make happen that you're the most happy about?
I am lucky to have had a career with many optimistic moments, including programs that empower girls and young women during difficult times. My proudest moment is leading initiatives that allow these girls to remain hopeful about their futures, despite the harsh realities they face.
