I’ve never left a review before but I am now. I’ve learned so much already and I’m excited to contour. With all that is going on in Gaza I’ve been inspired to learn about Islamic history to underhand how we got to where we are today. Jazakallah Kheyr

  • Clear overview of Islam’s early days

Uncomplicated introduction to the history of Islam.

After listening to the first 10 episodes, I’m impressed with Zayd’s synthesis of several (Arabic) sources. The podcast is aimed at those who are coming to the story for the first time. It moves chronologically (mostly) and delivers a lively account of the rise (& fall) of Arab power. An excellent primer.
