I’m a big fan of the podcast and YouTube channel. Very few people are willing to say the “h-word” (hunting) on a backpacking podcast or channel but the overlap between the two is undeniable. Quality information and an entertaining delivery. Keep up the great work!
Thoughtful, interesting, nicely interactive with guests.
I can’t say enough about this podcast. It has everything. Emory does a great job of asking the right questions and covers every aspect of backpacking through his numerous episodes.
Emory is easy to listen to, has first-hand experience (so knows what he is talking about), but is humble enough to bring on a host of interesting, very-experienced guest to deep-dive into a wide variety of topics pertaining to backpacking, whether a couple of nights just off the road, or a weeks or months-long adventure across a continent.
Emory really knows how to interview in a conversational way that is inspiring and informative. The honesty about successes and failures that he and his guests discuss helps me face up to what I want to do for myself. He brings great guests and information to listeners.
