I wanted to love this show because I was a huge BTVS and Angel fan. But this show gets more confusing with each episode. The most recent one was 6 minutes with no intro! I didn’t realize until I read other reviews that it’s because she is almost exclusively on Patreon. Unsubscribing.
Okay so I’m sorry to delve into politics here but I needed to write this review specifically as a response to Csebesta84. If you watched Buffy and you think ANY of the characters would be MAGA you are sorely mistaken. (Well, maybe the Mayor. For sure Snyder. I’m on the fence with Xander.) In that vein if you’re offended that Carpenter calls out the modern atrocities as she sees them…then perhaps you should find a show about a conservative woman that takes on human and supernatural forms of the p... more
I see new episodes on YouTube, but not here.
I really want to enjoy this but I cannot stand how abruptly the episodes end. I get that you want people to watch on Patreon but that shouldn’t take away from the experience on here. How hard would it be to just stick a message at the end “Thanks for tuning in, I hope you join me for the next episode. If you need or want more join us on Patreon!”
The podcast is incredibly clunky. She writes out everything she is going to say, and reads it poorly. Very hard to listen to and follow. She needs a co-podcaster so she can have more natural discussions and not be so clunky.

Fans of nostalgic pop culture and deep dives into Buffy the Vampire Slayer are drawn to candid, personal perspectives on the show's history, production, and legacy. Episodes mix rewatch commentary with behind-the-scenes anecdotes, industry insights from guest stars and writers, and timely takes on politics, education, and media literacy. A standout element is the host's unique position as a Buffy alum offering first-hand BTS stories, combined with a willingness to explore broader cultural themes, which makes discussions feel intimate, reflective, and occasionally provocative.
