  • If you are curious…

If you are curious about what Drew has to teach, please read on. In approx. January of 2025, I found my way to Drew Linsalata’s The Anxious Truth podcast, by way of Rick Hanson’s Being Well podcast. Rick may have been interviewing Drew, and I was drawn to Drew’s empathy, compassion, and practical understanding of how to disarm lifelong, recurring irrational fears. I’ve since listened to episodes 001-120, and have recently begun also alternating with the newest episodes (starting with about 330… ... more

  • Not a huge podcaster but this is the ONE podcast I follow and listen to weekly.

I never leave reviews and I never listen to podcasts.. this year has been very hard on my GAD and health anxiety. I was looking for anything and everything to help with my journey of understanding and managing my anxiety. When I stumbled onto Drew’s podcast series I felt relief. Not necessarily a relief to my anxiety… but knowing there was a community out there that knows what I’m going through and I’m not alone. The was Drew goes into depth and explains has really helped me. I enjoy listening t... more

  • Wonderful Listen for Therapists and Anxiety Experiencers Alike

As both a therapist and someone who has lived with unhelpful cycles of anxiety, I really appreciate Drew’s clear and concise explanations of all things anxiety. Treating anxiety often requires interrupting its cycle in ways that feel counterintuitive, and subtle shifts in how we respond can make a big difference. Because anxiety is an internalizing condition, its vicious cycle can be hard to fully grasp, but Drew’s ability to provide accurate, evidence-based information makes it easier to take ... more

  • Was Gonna See a Therapist but…

I have learned so much more from this podcast than I have ever learned from a regular therapist. I was going to go back to therapy but there is nothing that they would tell me that I haven’t learned from Drew. I recommend this podcast and the Disordered podcast that he does with Anxiety Josh. I can’t thank Drew enough that this podcast exists!
