I am not too much of a podcast person, but was looking for more info on the Dan Markel case and y’all popped up! You guys got me absolutely hooked! Very easy to follow, engaging, and it feels like a casual conversation between friends. Love it!
Love this!
I found this show at the beginning of the Nicholas Kassotis trial and thoroughly enjoyed the coverage and analysis. I’m looking forward to learning what trial the ladies will cover next. Whatever it is, one thing is for sure, I’m here for it!
I find that I prefer Margot’s episodes. She seems more polished and professional.
Tabitha used terms like “disco biscuit” and “holy guacamole” while discussing a horrific murder trial. I also need to listen to Tabitha’s episodes at 1.25 speed. I agree with other commenters that it’s unusual to just play unedited courtroom audio and then follow it up with very little analysis. The volune on the courtroom audio is also at a different level than the rest of the pod.
Overall, this could be good I... more
Didn’t like listening to defending Raul Valle. Just tell the story, we don’t need to hear how your teenage fight story clouded your current thinking. You bring a knife to a fist fight that you started then you intend to stab people
Podcast is ok. Sound is awful. Even with volume up all the way, I can barely hear it, then a commercial comes on and blows my ears out.
Came back to add on a little. I really want to like this but we listen to podcasts for commentary of some kind. I just listened to an episode that was entirely testimony from the Karen Read trial. If we wanted the trial with no commentary at all, we could just watch/listen to the trial. I don’t understand the point. Idk if lazy is the right word but I just don’... more
good podcast, like the hosts.
wish they would share a little bit of their opinion here and not only on patreon - i understand the importance of patreon but to keep it completely behind a pay wall is pitty. that is what is missing here.
Are Alternates supposed to be opinionated BEFORE hearing all the evidence? You both provide a very biased view of the KR trial, this could be because you watched the first trial and her jury/opinion tainting interviews. FYI…Just because you doubt something does not mean it is reasonable. I would suggest figuring out how to really leave your opinions at the door, before you find your next trial. This has been a poor start, I expected better.
So good!! I love Housewives of true crime and this one is great too! I’m learning so much!
i started listening because i listen to military murder and enjoy that podcast but this podcast has no story telling, at time hard to hear what is being said and way to much ungrounded information. i’m hoping since it’s a new podcast that it will improve.
the best parts are the weekly updates on the sean combs trial. weekly updates seems to be a better format for these podcasters
Has potential. Stop putting so much of your opinion in. I thought that was supposed to be how this podcast ran? Just straight facts- no bias. I could be wrong. Also the ad cuts are terrible I recommend finding a way to cut into them nicely. It really ruins the flow. I have no reason to join Pateron because I already know your opinions. Hopefully it improves.
Loving this daily update! Thanks for boiling it down for us, ladies.
Was looking forward to this podcast as it was advertised that no personal opinions would be shared and that everyday would just be a comprehensive recap of what happened in court. However, you ladies give so many personal opinions and it’s annoying and hard to discern fact from opinion. If you want us to listen and think like a juror - don’t put your 2 cents in. Share that on your subscriber episodes. Margot should do everyday, she is the better of the duo. Sorry Tabitha but your valley gir... more
The daily or weekly trial recaps are surprisingly succinct for the amount of information shared. They’re doing a great job of presenting trial testimony without bias and focusing on what the jury is learning with fresh eyes, adding insight from the first trial (of Karen Read) only when it differs slightly or helps explain attitude of the witness toward prosecutor or defense attorneys, while also distinguishing those details as NOT info privy to the jury. Recaps are easy to follow. It’s nice to f... more
I’m really enjoying this podcast looking forward to hearing you cover other cases.
