  • Bring All The Good…

President Gordon B Hinckley said it best many years ago. “Bring all the good you have and let’s see if we can build on it.”

To me, that is one of the most non-threatening ways to come together as different peoples.

Zero downside. Thanks for stretching outside your comfort zone ladies.

  • Love it!

I have wanted to learn more about other faith traditions and beliefs for many years, but I have struggled with making time or taking time away from other commitments - especially on Sundays. Thank you for making the time for me and allowing me to follow along. I look forward to learning from those you interview and I am excited to hear more about your experiences. Thank you!

We shouldn't shy away from the brokenness, and our faith response must be one of lament alongside calls for justice and accountability.

Q: What is the significance of the matriarchal society on the reservation?
Traditionally, women were in charge of the goings on, which contrasted with the expectations placed on women in white society.
S2 E26: Part 1 - Growing up on the Navajo Reservation as a white girl with Mary Wagner

S2 E26: Part 1 - Growing up on the Navajo Reservation as a white girl with Mary Wagner
Q: Can you please share with us a little bit about what it was like growing up on the Navajo Nation?
