As someone who has been a darren fan for 10+ years, this podcast has been on my “list” for a while and I’m finally getting around to listening. And so glad I am!
I love the guests but I also really enjoy the episodes of darren and este. they’re both great interviewers, incredibly intelligent, and obviously talented. It’s so fun hearing their stories and how raw the podcast is and I thoroughly enjoy it :)
Hosts both spend way too much time talking. Be like Terri Gross. Do your homework, ask insightful questions, get out of the way, and let the guest talk.
I love this podcast! It’s so refreshing to hear these interviews that aren’t just revolved around promoting new movies/music/etc. or the same generic questions that are asked of celebrities all the time. Even when Darren and Este have episodes alone, without guests, it’s fun to hear their conversations and individual perspectives.
I've been a fan of the podcast since the very beginning, and haven't missed an episode. Ryan Tedder was a delight. Dynamic speaker, a great story teller and so down to earth. His story about the strategy he used to connect with the head of HR at Universal so he could get an internship blew. me. away!
