I follow about a dozen news brief podcasts from around the world in an effort to get a variety of perspectives. This is one of those I’ve listened to daily for years.
Lately, though, since the previous backup announcer seems to have been made permanent, I’ve given it up. It’s just too painful to listen to her. I don’t listen to Fox or Cnn because I just want news. I don’t want to be told what to believe or have virtue signaling shoved down my throat. I just want info. I’m very interested in what happens here in my home state and I like to keep up with the politics and general NEWS. I hoped to find that here. I have listened to their daily briefs. Interesting, but does like to interject words into the stories reported which show their “left leaning” opinions. I want the news reported so that I can decide for myself. This is definitely better than the New York Times. In reporting upcoming events, they are do not include Republican or Conservative speakers.

I find this podcast incredibly helpful when listening to news about Texas because it doesn’t just report the news. Too many news outlets just report on what some public figure said. This podcast puts the statements of these individuals in context which, for me, greatly helps evaluate the validity of what is being said.
