  • Another triumph

I’ve been a big fan of David’s work for a long time. His contribution to Goes Cube and Distant Correspondent simultaneously display his distinctly humorous, dark and warm hearted sensibilities. It was no surprise that he can cultivate such compelling stories about cars and the lives they touch. more

  • For fans of cars, but not just cars.

David Obuchowski has a knack for bringing incredible stories and experiences out of people, with cars as a through line. Sometimes cars can be the focus, but oftentimes, they are a vehicle (heh) through which to share stories of all types. Really good stuff here, and a welcome change of pace from a lot of online discussions around cars.

  • David’s incredible

The amount of care, emotional intelligence and sensitivity, creativity, professionalism and skill David exhibits in this eerie story is so special and rare. Thanks for shedding light on an uncomfortable topic. And with a mostly male audience!

  • Great podcast about more than just cars

The thing you have to know is that Tempest is not a podcast about cars. It is a podcast about stories that happen to involve cars. If you like any of the popular human interest storytelling podcasts you will be addicted to Tempest.
