  • Too old to rock and roll, too young to die.

Thanks for the great podcast. From a Tull fan, since high school, 1972 grad. I’ve been to too many concerts to count. Beginning with passion play. Your insight And deep dive into my favorite band is great. Some of the history, and meaning of lyrics, has broadened my understanding of Tull.

    Thanks!

Hi there fellow tullians. I think this must be the greatest walkthrough of any band that exits. I myself have always prioritised the music above the text, and never knew what a lot about them was about. Though I believe that they from time to time are wrong in the their interpretations, it is still a very good walkthrough of the sound and lyrics. I started myself listening to Jethro Tull around the age of 10(34 years ago), when I decided to explore my fathers record collection. Beatles had been ... more

  • Glad to hear you talking about Tull

Started late to the show, and enjoy it very much! My introduction to Jethro Tull was a review of Thick as a Brick in our high school newspaper. I was hooked from there. (This was 1972, so yes I’m a boomer that listens to podcasts) Just recently heard your review of Son, and was curious why there was no reference to the line of “ten days for watching the Sun-set” Enjoy the podcast very much and am looking forward to my favorite albums Aqualung to A, plus the ones that follow.
