Miranda’s Mutley Chuckle Kills It In A Good Way 🤣🤫, loved it all first time round, we all did- M gets it done without the @rz platery and ring craft evident on other cheap imitations.
Would benefit from tighter editing. Miranda’s stream of consciousness style is ok on a subject she knows well, but annoying the rest of the time. A lot of shows ramble endlessly- I rarely get to the end of an episode, despite enjoying many of the subjects.
I refused to listen originally despite liking Miranda’s work as I tend to resist nostalgia. However I’m a solid punter for this pod and it’s slowly won me over. The 90s was the best decade and culturally fascinating.
Love this pod and love Miranda (who’d undoubtedly be one of my sleb dinner party guests coz she’s so knowledgeable, wise and fun!) This pod takes me right back to the best decade yet where fashion, music and politics all coalesced into a perfect set of conditions for being a teenager. Highly recommended discussion for such a phenomenal time in our cultural history. Great guests too!
Love the premise but Miranda is just so annoying as a host.
She’s not warm or funny, she talks too fast and the fake laugh reeks of desperation. I don’t know who told her she can do this.
She’s needs to stick to the written word.
