A Kingkiller Chronicle re-read podcast where we do a deep dive into the books of Patrick Rothfuss. We recommend starting with episode 1 as our episodes are quite sequential.

I just binged 2 years of this pod in about 2 weeks. I love Kingkiller and after my 2nd read-through I was looking for more related content. Will and Phoenix are so nerdy and fun, they’re cat people, and they just seem nice. I love having their voices in my ears talking about Kingkiller in a really socially thoughtful way. We would totally be friends in real life. Thanks for podding with us!
One of my favorite aspects of a good podcast is that it fits into a niche. It usually means the audience and community behind them are full of good people. TFTW and its hosts are based around one of my favorite books, and its single sequel and novella. This is a nice way to keep the interest alive as well, as we wait for the finale novel to eventually arrive. I found the show through Twitter, and it afforded me the chance to see just how kind the hosts are. They definitely earned their pipes.
Thank you for the fun of catching up to you. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for making me feel like there are people out there with the same interests as me. 😇 more
This podcast is in turns fun and/or heartbreaking, depending on where you are in the book. But either way, I can always count on Phoenix and Will to cheer me up. They're just a really sweet couple. Sharing their own insights and opinions (both loving and critical) and looking for lessons to take away from the book (hint: don't be Kvothe), this podcast is the perfect thing to listen to while waiting for book 3 to come out. Thank you for brightening my days.
I started to listen to the most recent episode, but went back to episode one per her “instruction” lol. I’ve never read this book, but it was still an interesting listen. I also borrowed the quote about death and used it in one of my podcast episodes (don’t worry I told them and gave them credit 😊)
