  • Great content, way too many ads

I love Adam Grant and his books are great. Such thoughtfully curated episodes are ripped to shreds with way too many ads ruining the cadence and pushing my focus away from the content. I can’t pay $50/year for every podcast to be ad free and still buy their books etc. Such a bummer.

What is greatness? with Chuck Klosterman
Q: What makes someone the greatest in a historical era when the context itself changes?
Greatness is not just peak performance but how the person reframes or creates a new standard within a given era, and how their presence alters the trajectory of the field or sport, even if later athletes surpass them in raw metrics.
What is greatness? with Chuck Klosterman
Q: What is the difference between an arch enemy and a nemesis?
A nemesis is a rival whom you can tolerate and even enjoy working with, while an arch enemy is someone you view as actively trying to destroy what you are, creating genuine antagonism. You can have several nemeses but typically only one arch enemy.
How Adam Grant uses data and intuition to make life decisions | from WorkLife with Molly Graham
Q: What sparked the shift to Vibe after Think Again, and how did you approach that research?
The seeds were planted during a tour for Hidden Potential and the realization that building chemistry and meaningful connections could be a long-term, universally relevant topic; I gave myself time to explore, test, and develop a framework before committing to a new book.
How Adam Grant uses data and intuition to make life decisions | from WorkLife with Molly Graham
Q: Can you just tell me how you got to that topic, given that framework?
I described a space between intrinsic motivation and societal impact, and how I choose projects by testing ideas, thinking about their timelessness, and considering whether they would matter to the world.
The antidote to injustice with Bryan Stevenson
Q: What is the most important policy change listeners should push for?
Support for conviction integrity units, stronger prosecutor and judge accountability, and legislative efforts to ensure compensation and redress for the wrongly convicted, because these changes make the system more trustworthy and humane.
