This is possibly my favourite podcast. I’m fascinated by the science and insights that come from organizational psychology. The episodes are strewn with takeaways that can improve every workplace and worklife!
I deeply appreciate the insights shared by Adam Grant and other brilliant minds who have rare openness and kindness that accompany their intellect. Also, I actually like the production added to the show to keep the content concise and well-structured. While I also love free-flowing interviews, not all podcasts need to be that way, and I think the theme of organizational psychology of this podcast goes well with a well-organized format. Thank you for what you are doing!!
I love the discussions during this podcast. Lately I noticed more production: the addition of music, stitched together clips. It doesn’t feel like a human, intimate discussion but more an overly produced show. It’s lost something special and I find myself distracted and not invested. Please keep it simple.
…but don’t be tempted to include further private relationship chat if she does join (ie no repeat of wanting to drive/walk faster/slower debate). Why? Because you are one of the best interviewers out there, because of your great focus on the interviewee. It is fascinating to hear of the private life of a hero like you Adam, but to do so will likely swing your show focus away from your brilliant current formula and expert interviewee focus.
