美國女饒舌歌手德莫斯（Dank Demoss）因公開遭歧視事件引發關注
她發文指控日前用乘車平台「Lyft」叫車，司機到現場看到她後，卻以她太胖為由拒載，表示車子無法承受她的重量，要她用UBER叫一台更大的車。
德莫斯的律師指出，根據美國密西根州的法律，任何基於外貌特徵的歧視行為都是不被允許的
雖然Lyft平台表示司機可以因為安全問題拒絕載客，但絕不能因為乘客的外觀特徵而拒載，

聽了小費那集，小費文化真的是很麻煩。不過我覺得好的服務值得tips，我則是因為怕給少了（而且像您提到的其實也就是幾塊錢的差距）所以我都是付稅後20%，而且不管是中午晚上都是20%，特別好的會給到30%。原因是好的服務為什麼要分時段？即使午餐服務的時間比較短，午餐一般已經比較便宜了，照%拿到的也相對比較少。 除了這點再給您一些回饋，可以做進階下一集in-depth再深入討論的方向：1.台灣現在也有很多餐廳強制小費2.美國超過5-6人有些餐廳會強制收18%以上。美國餐館通常會特地告知。亞洲餐館則通常不會，我就有在泰國餐館消費了78，被強制收了20%$18元，帳單最後$96，我在不知情的情況下又給了$20。服務員拿到帳單馬上看我有沒有➕小費露出一個超大的笑容，回想起來實在可惡之至。
