米靈岸音樂劇場的創辦人胡健，是香港僑生，在大氣系就讀時有著長髮及腰的形象。他愛上表演藝術及排灣族文化，從事實景表演藝術的創作，進而成為金曲獎唱片的製作人。年輕時不怕窮，用熱情燃燒自己，到了40多歲，發現身心靈及財務透支嚴重，閉關思考人生，於是放下堅持，心態放鬆，將過去積累的藝術能量，變成接地氣的老屋翻新事業，有著包租公的美號。

農業部桃園區農業改良場研究員葉志新博士，大學碩士博士都唸台大農藝系。小時候住雲林，從國中時期開始跟蘭花結緣，大半人生都在研究蘭科植物。經過十年的默默耕耘，突然引起注意，甚至被記者封為香莢蘭（香草）之父。雖然跟家人沒住一起而做假日爸爸，兒子也傳承到對農業的興趣而進入台大農化系。他推薦桃園場開發的「種菜芳城市」，讓業餘種菜的人可以養好植物。

生技興櫃公司副總經理，也是中國醫藥大學附設醫院眼科教授何慧君博士，人生搭上特快車，女醫師界最早升到正教授，開發了三款由台灣團隊研發，第一個獲得美國FDA通過的臨床實驗新藥，其中幹細胞藥物接近上市，創新抗癌藥物正在臨床試驗當中。還唸了一個法律學位。但是她的人生曾有多次低谷，後來在美國工作時受洗，找到生命的力量度過困難，展現出樂觀的態度及平易近人的風格。在這一集她用風趣的語氣分享人生、育兒、求學、眼科、製藥、仲裁等主題。
