I love Simon Brew’s other podcast so was glad to see another show hosted by him. This also does the great job of telling stories about movies you may or may not know and inspiring you to rewatch them or watch them for the first time. Highly recommended!
I listen to dozens of film podcasts, and Simon Brew is a leading light in an increasingly crowded field. His research is clearly impeccable and his delivery is at once personable and authoritative. The combination of Simon’s attention to detail and the quality of the Canal library make this essential listening for anyone interested in film.
A wonderful podcast with a charming host and interesting conversations. Excellent production quality, the perfect peaceful listen with good recommendations for your must see movies list from across the decades.
This is a great podcast, expert but accessible and the host is v good. Have a listen
I’ve long enjoyed listening to Simon on the Film Stories podcast, and he has a rare skill to be able to talk on his own with grace, warmth, wit and smarts. But it’s an especially joy to hear him team up with folks as erudite and warm on this podcast – every minute a joy.
