Matt Bomer on Resilience, Family, and Staying Strong at Every Stage of Life
Q: Was there a specific episode from Mid-Century Modern that you loved filming, and do you want to pursue more comedy roles?
I really enjoyed the Pickleball episode; multicam comedy is a unique challenge, and I found it thrilling to work in that medium, especially after doing many serious roles.
Matt Bomer on Resilience, Family, and Staying Strong at Every Stage of Life
Q: How long did it take you to transform your body for Magic Mike, and was there ever a time you felt like throwing in the towel?
The first film transformation took about two and a half months, and I had to be incredibly disciplined. There were moments of doubt, especially when I had to lose a significant amount of weight for a role for the second film.

Q: Has your approach to training changed over the years, or do you still train mostly to prepare for roles, or has long-term health become more of a priority for you?
My training has changed and evolved over the years. When I was doing White Collar, I was just trying to get in the gym after long hours of shooting. Now it's about a balance of personal and project-specific goals.
