It was a pleasure to join Debi for this thoughtful and eye-opening conversation. She asked meaningful and well-informed questions and created a supportive space to explore the deeper roots of bone health, including inflammation, toxins, nervous system regulation, and emotional stress. I appreciated her clarity, her warmth, and her genuine desire to help listeners understand osteoporosis from a whole-body perspective. A caring and insightful host.

Osteoporosis Isn’t Random, How Functional Labs Reveal the Root Causes
Q: What sparked the shift from traditional bone density testing to functional diagnostic approaches?
The realization that many patients with low bone density still feel unwell and don't improve with standard therapies led to exploring root causes; labs can reveal stress hormones, gut health issues, and nutrient absorption problems that aren't captured by DXA alone.
Osteoporosis Care Is Broken—and How Women Can Take Control with Dr. Wendy Warner - Part 1
Q: What role do hormones play in bone health beyond bones themselves?
Hormones influence brain health, cardiovascular health, and bone turnover; recent studies show that bioidentical hormone therapies can be beneficial for bone density when used appropriately, especially if started within an optimal window, and should be balanced with lifestyle and metabolic health.
Is Osteoporosis Really a Disease? A Spinal Surgeon Challenges the Bone Density Narrative
Q: Why do you feel that the approach to osteoporosis needs to change?
There's a reliance on pharmaceuticals rather than a holistic lifestyle approach that considers diet, exercise, and hormone levels.
Is Osteoporosis Really a Disease? A Spinal Surgeon Challenges the Bone Density Narrative
Q: What do you think is the main problem with the DEXA scan?
It's designed to measure density of bone but not strength, which doesn't effectively predict fracture risk.
Osteoporosis & Longevity: Why Aging Happens at the Cellular Level
Q: So, would this product help with muscular repair when they are working harder to build stronger muscles for stronger bones?
Yes, reducing the negative impact of stressed mitochondria can help every system function optimally, assisting in muscular repair.
