Definitely an approach to working out smarter and not harder with better results in less time. Try this for 90 days to give it a true test and it will debunk your old ways of thinking about fitness. Love everything about the exercise coach. Keep up the great work.

  • JOKE!!

This guy is an absolute joke! This is a money grab that preys on unsuspecting middle age and elderly people. This is NOT a useful fitness program for anyone. Pricing is a joke, promises and results are completely empty and completely ridiculous!!

  • I love The Exercise Coach but go deeper!

I am a current client and was hoping to get more behind-the-scenes info on the different protocols, a discussion of how to set effective strength goals, and more of the theory of how the workouts work. I’m already sold on the basic idea that this podcast keeps hammering away at. I would like a deeper dive instead of a sales pitch. Maybe offer another podcast for clients only?

The Science and Application of Exercise Choice and Exercise Order
Q: What should somebody keep in mind when it comes to the selection of exercises they do in a given workout and the sequencing of those exercises?
When selecting exercises, consider the effectiveness, safety, and your subjective experience regarding fatigue. The order may affect immediate performance but not overall adaptations.
Workout and Recovery Secrets That Actually Work
Q: What is the perfect recovery time?
Most people should take two days recovery between workouts, and three days is better for optimal recovery.
Maximize Your Gains with Proper Muscle Fiber Recruitment
Q: Would this dimming of the muscle fibers or sort of like unrecruitment of the muscle fibers that we're trying to recruit during a set still happen as well if we took too long of a break within one set?
Yes, muscle fibers can recover if you take breaks during a set, which affects recruitment.
How to Spot Reliable Fitness and Health Advice Online
Q: If you come across a claim, what are the initial questions going through your mind to kind of evaluate that claim?
When receiving information, ask if there is a theoretical framework for the reason behind the claim and whether there is evidence supporting it.
Science-based Single Set Strength Training: The Volume for Efficient Strength and Health Adaptations
Q: So the question that came in is, can I really just do a single set of exercise in a muscle group and get the benefits from it?
Yes, a single set can yield similar benefits to multiple sets of exercise if performed to muscular failure or fatigue.
