Politics. It’s a blessing and a curse. On good days, it’s about your friends in the foxhole with you. On bad ones, it’s the mountain of votes that went the other way. Either way, it pulls you back in, again, and again, and a f**king again. Like I said: A. Goddamn. Curse. Air Quotes Media brings you, "Curse of Politics: The Herle Burly Political Panel" podcast you secretly hate to love — but love a... more

I did not think it would happen again but once more they did a daily show on the Ontario election. I realize now that this is not really a national podcast but an Ontario one. David being from Saskatchewan surely knows that very few if any of us in Saskatchewan care about an Ontario election. Nor would I expect people of Ontario to care about one in Saskatchewan. Imagine a daily month long podcast on a Saskatchewan election. I am sure there is relief from listeners in the other nine provinces... more
Love this show! Great education about the science of politics and the meaning of democracy. And many good laughs! Thank you.
Hurley I am a loyal Curse of Politics listener but the Ontario election daily is ridiculous. Not only is the broadcast weak and out of energy , it is ignoring much more important issues than the Ontario election. As a guy from the Prairies I would have expected you to be more sensitive to the fact that Ontario is not the centre of the universe..
"Oh, the 'Curse of Politics' podcast? It’s perfect for those days when you want to feel both confused and mildly regretful about your life choices. It's like a masterclass in how to navigate chaos—except you don’t get a diploma, just an existential crisis!"
Great podcast for a national viewpoint (minus Québec) on Canada. It’s funny, it’s fun, it’s fantastic. The panel is however tone deaf and utterly incompetent about anything French or Québec. They put the ROC in Rest of Canada. Bilinguals outside of Québec beware, ils ne sont pas capables de livrer, mais c’est excellent pour comprendre la mentalité de nos amis les carrés.
I mean nobody in Quebec can do national politics either but they don’t pretend to be national 🤷♂️
