Politics. It’s a blessing and a curse. On good days, it’s about your friends in the foxhole with you. On bad ones, it’s the mountain of votes that went the other way. Either way, it pulls you back in, again, and again, and a f**king again. Like I said: A. Goddamn. Curse. Air Quotes Media brings you "Curse of Politics", the podcast you secretly hate to love — but love anyway — for unfiltered, unscr... more

  • Drivel

It is amazing you guys have a sponsor, or maybe it’s because you have a sponsor that you can keep this up. This is the cringiest, most disingenuous drivel I have had the displeasure of sitting through. Do you guys ever listen back to how you sound?

  • what happened?

I’ve listened to this show for a long time, and it used to be great. Lots of entertaining ideological friction. Now, it’s a boring Liberal echo chamber, with two Liberals, a Tory who is clearly a Liberal, and the most Liberal “leftist” imaginable.

  • Stop taking advertising money from big tobacco

Been a huge fan of the show and a regular listener for years now, but I’m very disappointed to hear an ad from Rothmans, Benson and Hedges promoting deregulation for their nicotine products. Unsmoke.ca is not about health or going smoke free, it’s a thinly veiled effort to protect big tobacco’s interests and maintain nicotine addiction. Do better, Herle!

It could lead to a better public perception if he successfully appears more supportive and mature while managing party dissent.
The Game Has Changed
Q: What did you think of Poliev's speech at the Economic Club?
It was a tactical repositioning and aimed at minimizing his past stance on Trump while connecting to economic issues.
Pope Funeral for PM?

It's a bad idea since there's important work to do here in Canada and attending would not serve substantive political impact.

Yes, poll data indicated shifts away from Ford towards the Liberals and NDP, with changes noted among left and soft conservative voters.
