The natural way the readers narrate the stories and the sounds and music making the narratives feel alive. I have listened to story light for years and still love it.
I like it when dad reads because I love him. I like how the reader of Boxcar Children believes in dragons. I like how Anne is a different accent.

Even though it ended a while ago,its an absolutely amazing podcast for the whole family and is great for road trips, bedtime, quiet times, or if you’re just into stories and want good clean entertainment 😊-anonymous
I just found this podcast and I’m sad to see it hasn’t been updated in a few years. I know it’s a lot of work but hopefully you’ll come back and record more classics!
Such great production, readers and story selections. I subscribed for my kids but I listen and enjoy it as much as they do!
I listen to it while I’m cleaning
The very best narration of Peter and Wendy I’ve ever heard!!
You should read The horse and his boy that would be fun !!!!
We put a book on each night for our kids to fall asleep with. We have done 3 books so far. Great story tellers. Our kids look forward to going to bed!
These narrators are really top notch. I've listened to a few books with my 6 year old boy and we'll definitely continue. We've had to postpone some books because of thematic elements more suited for older kids, maybe 8+. I love the expanded vocabulary that classic literature brings and the voices and background effects are very well done. It's for adults, too; classics are timeless!
In just the last two months, I’ve managed to catch up with almost every book on this Story Light podcast, because each one is a wonderfully acted/narrated tale which has sometimes inspired, sometimes encouraged, and sometimes caused me to laugh out loud!
Thank you for presenting and producing these stories in such a professional and imaginative way! Every one of your narrators/actors has been brilliant in bringing century-old books to life!
I highly recommend this podcast & have told many of my... more
I love this podcast! Great narrators telling classic stories. I’m always excited to hear each new installment!
What a gem of a podcast! Here are some of my favorite stories and I can revisit them whenever and wherever I want. The voices and production are excellent. The stories add joy and comfort to my daily routine. I am so excited for many hours of happy listening.
Stories have come to life through voice and sound. Transported to another place and time with each — from Wind in The Willows to Peter Pan, Anne of Green Gables to Treasure Island. Satisfying beyond compare!
