I listened to many of these podcasts while traveling around Iceland and it was like having a local guide in the car with me.
Stories of mythology from the original Sagas brought life to the landscape, while some episodes were a snapshot of historical events as seen through the eyes of the host.
I’m unsure if he knows how funny he actually is, but his dry humour had me gasping in hysterics. At other times I just wanted to give him a hug as his honesty is so endearing. 🥹
There is a problem with the website where it keeps reloading every 5 seconds or so.
Otherwise, what a wonderful show. Please keep making more. 🙏🏻
Just a lovely stories that I’ve not heard before. The story teller has such a melodic and calming voice, it’s a nice wind-down at night. 2 thumbs up!!
I think the stories are really good and you do a great work on getting all that knowledge and facts, one thing Id work on is intonation of your voice. It was very difficult to listen to the story about the only serial killer in Iceland - because the intonation is very monotonic and therefore makes you lose it quite easily.
