  • Laura & Lainie Bring Joy to My Day!

I fell in love with Southern culture, traditions and values while vacationing in South Carolina last summer and wanted to continue learning as much as I could about different regions in the South. I’ve been binge listening to the Steel Magnolias podcast and it’s brought me so much joy to press play and have Laura and Lainie’s voices fill my day. Thank you both so much for creating this podcast and I wish you luck with the next chapter in your lives!

  • The best podcast I’ve ever listened to!

Lainey and Laura Beth have such a fun way of highlighting the south’s best attributes! They were either born to make a podcast together or have put in a lot of time and effort to become great podcast hosts. The show is so uplifting and positive but also always approaches any more serious topics with appropriate reverence. • Yes!

I agree with all the positive reviews! However, every fifth word out of Laura Beth’s mouth is, “yes, yes.” It’s OK to stop and pause and listen or have silence for a few seconds. She seems to always need to fill those moments. It’s a little bit hard to listen to. And I really loved this show, but I find myself counting how many times she says yes. Too many! Lol
