It was a real loss for meaningful CT news and conversation when John retired from his shows on WNPR - The Wheelhouse and NEXT being my favorite hours of WNPR programming. Journalist moderators, like John, or Tom Ashbrook, or Brian Lehrer at WNYC, add so much to our public commons, so when they retire or take a vacation, it’s noticeable.
