Season 1-StanLand was great and I wish it didn’t end. 4 stars. Season 2-Randy! is well produced and the actor does the character very well, but it’s so crude I can’t listen. Wish it was its own podcast series and not wrapped up in Stanland: 1 Star.
Sister in law told me about it while we were celebrating Christmas. Enjoyed it so much I listened to the whole thing before I saw her again today on Christmas Eve 😂
I wanted to like this podcast, and I could listen to Rhea Seehorn act all day long, but it was just too tedious for me.
The writer of StanLand has a wild imagination. This audio series took me on an unexpected journey that was both confusing and hysterical. Prepare yourself for a mythical universe colliding with the modern world. Each episode feels like a ride through a different dimension. For fans of genre mashups, satire, and creativity, it’s definitely worth a listen.
Brilliantly funny! A greatly engrossing and hilarious listen for normally distracted podcast dilettantes with short attention spans.

Notable is the hybrid format that moves from standalone character sketches to a broader universe, offering both intimate storytelling and large-scale parody of modern life.
What stands out is the fearless willingness to mix cringe, satire, and magical realism, plus a recurring emphasis on character-driven world-bu... more
