Awesome podcast. Tons of good info. Any chance you will do a show dedicated to a beginner learning 15off at slower speeds? Maybe you already did but I wasn’t able to find it. It seems mostly geared toward short line. I’m curious if anything changes at longer line lengths for a beginner or concepts that can help a beginner. Cheers!
Hi, thanks for an awesome show. This podcast has absolutely been the best thing that has happened to my waterskiing. You are both fantastic ambassadors for our beautiful sport. Keep up the good work.
I’ve re-listened to both 2020 & 21 episodes on Gates. It’s all right there to set up a good pass. Not that it’s easy! But, great technical detail that’s easy to understand. Keep up the great work!
Love these guys. Fun to listen to! As an avid over 50 course skier who started slalom skiing 5 years ago, I get something out of each episode. Arms long, arms long, have fun! I think Rossi should do a clinic when he is back in Vermont!!
Another great episode. Thanks for sharing all the great info!

This show is a deep-dive into slalom waterskiing, led by two world-class skiers who blend technical how-tos with mindset and training strategies. Episodes cover core technique (edge changes, stance, hip orientation, vision), boat dynamics, and season-long planning, while also addressing competition nerves, conditioning, and coaching younger athletes. A standout quality is the practical, experience-based guidance that frequently links on-water tactics to real-world training plans, making complex ideas approachable for skiers at multiple levels. The format tends to feature detailed explanations, thoughtful Q&A, and a willingness to share personal coaching stories that illustrate how fundamentals scale to elite performance.
