  • Great information

Pleassseeee get a mic that doesn’t pick up every sound in your mouth, I cringe every couple seconds. I want to listen but there has to be a way the mic does not pick up every time you open your mouth or swallow.

Besides that I love the show!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

2/22/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Danni Wysocki
Q: What should young athletes consider when building their brand and navigating AI-driven risks?
Athletes should focus on authentic storytelling, protect their image and voice against AI misuse, and build enduring revenue streams from sponsorships and digital platforms while maintaining mental well-being and balancing public exposure with private life.
2/22/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Danni Wysocki
Q: How has the presence of women in sports media evolved, and why does it matter for branding and audience reach?
There's been increased representation of women in media roles which, alongside data showing women as a large portion of live sports audiences, drives broader coverage, stronger parasocial connections, and more targeted marketing, expanding both storytelling and sponsorship opportunities.
2/22/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Danni Wysocki
Q: What role should athletes' personal accounts play during game day or major events?
Athletes should balance real-time expression with strategic guardrails; direct access can empower fans and deepen engagement, but missteps can harm sponsorships and mental health. Having a trained approach to when and how to post, and who controls the account, helps maintain a constructive public image.
2/22/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Danni Wysocki
Q: As a sports media expert, how has social media changed the way athletes manage interviews and public perception?
Social media has fragmented a once-linear news cycle, giving athletes direct access to fans, enabling authentic storytelling, and allowing brands to align with values beyond traditional media. However, it also introduces risks like career-long scrutiny and the potential for missteps that require careful media training and personal brand management.
2/8/26 - Dr. Jacobs Discusses How To Deal with Pressure
Q: What do you think about the pressures athletes face?
Christians emphasize that fun should be a priority over pressure in youth sports.
