  • Great information

Pleassseeee get a mic that doesn’t pick up every sound in your mouth, I cringe every couple seconds. I want to listen but there has to be a way the mic does not pick up every time you open your mouth or swallow.

Besides that I love the show!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

5/24/26 - Dr. Jacobs Discusses How To Handle Losing
Q: How should a coach respond when a team loses a game?
Focus on effort, learning, and fun, acknowledge the loss, but immediately pivot to what can be improved and how to move forward.
4/12/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Former Chiefs Runningback Christian Okoye
Q: How did you cope with the injury that ended your career earlier than some expected?
The transition was smoother for me because I didn't start football with the dream of staying in the NFL; I focused on leveraging the opportunity I had and found fulfillment in contributing in other ways.
4/12/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Former Chiefs Runningback Christian Okoye
Q: What was it about American football that drew you in, given you played many sports in Nigeria?
Football drew me in because I saw it as an opportunity to excel after facing challenges in other sports; I worked hard, learned quickly, and used the sport as a vehicle to improve and help my family.
2/22/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Danni Wysocki
Q: What should young athletes consider when building their brand and navigating AI-driven risks?
Athletes should focus on authentic storytelling, protect their image and voice against AI misuse, and build enduring revenue streams from sponsorships and digital platforms while maintaining mental well-being and balancing public exposure with private life.
2/22/26 - Dr. Jacobs Interviews Danni Wysocki
Q: How has the presence of women in sports media evolved, and why does it matter for branding and audience reach?
There's been increased representation of women in media roles which, alongside data showing women as a large portion of live sports audiences, drives broader coverage, stronger parasocial connections, and more targeted marketing, expanding both storytelling and sponsorship opportunities.
