Even if this podcast with Steven and Leo wasn’t fantastically entertaining and hilarious, it deserves 5 stars simply for introducing me to Sorority House Massacre III: Hard to Die. 10/10. No notes.
Plus Leo’s got a cool name.
I like the podcast overall, but it can be a bit frustrating at times. One host tends to laugh at everything, while the other who has a lisp often makes unfunny or repetitive sex jokes. On top of that, he frequently doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about when discussing some of the movies.
I had to stop listening because of the errors and lack of critical thinking and personal biases. In a recent episode on Silence of the Lambs, the main character is continually called Clarice STERLING- it’s STARLING. In another episode on the movie Tusk, they mix up character names in the plot, and fail to understand that the police officer, played by Johnny Depp, is the True North Trilogy overarching character(Yoga Hosers and hopefully to be made Moose Jaws). I just learned about this show from another podcast that I listen to. Steve and Leo are absolutely hilarious! I love the way they break down the plot in sections and then provide their feedback. It’s a great format and a great show. Keep it up guys!
