  • delightful podcast. Ad free, Creepy and atmospheric intro, and fun short, scary stories at the end. Jeffery gives a wonderful essay relating back to the film at the beginning. These boys' backgrounds in theater really amplifies the conversation, but I've yet to figure out who Brecht is, (and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.) The random element has led to both the classics and some hidden gems, and has definitely encouraged my interest and demystified a genre. Warm podcast hug.

  • Fun podcast

I always enjoy listening and it’s fun how the hosts figure out which movies to watch. They are very literary/analytical so I feel like I’m back in college where the professors always included films on the syllabus. I want to see their take on Company of Wolves! Also, GUYS. I listened to the Howling 2 episode today and as a teacher going into my 24th year teaching middle school THANK U. You made me tear up with what you said about teachers.

  • Ok

It’s ok - the hosts are pretty entertaining but it’s not perfect. They go off on tangents sometimes (which is a pet peeve of mine) but worse they sometimes get details of the film they’re discussing completely wrong and that’s just irritating. more
