This podcast is funny, honest, and so helpful. As someone who has not experienced a close loss I still relate to and learn so much from this podcast. I feel more comfortable talking about grief, more equipped to show up for my friends who may be grieving and more prepared for future grief I may encounter. Its a wonderful way to spend an hour and I am so grateful for this space and these conversations that are so few and far between in our society.
Sam & Jamie approach this subject with tender and touching pragmatism. Sharing their experiences has set the stage beautifully for listeners to tap into their own feelings and acknowledge that grief is a place where we can find unexpected support, rage, & levity. I’ve found myself laughing and crying with you both, and it’s a glorious thing!
I love this podcast *to death.* Jamie and Sam are real, they say the quiet parts out loud, they model kindness and generosity for grief in their interactions with each other, and they’re so relatable and funny. Yes, grief can be funny. I love that they’re consistently addressing all sides of grief and letting it be what it is instead of trying to fit it into a tidy box. Thank you more please!
Like sitting with a dear friend where you laugh through tears, complete each others sentences, and say, "oh my gosh, I know, right?" Over and over again. Well done ladies. Looking forward to the coming episodes!
Listening to "Sorry For Your Loss" felt like sitting down with a close friend who truly understands the messy, painful, and sometimes absurd side of grief. The hosts’ honesty and vulnerability are incredibly moving, yet they know just when to sprinkle in humour, making the listen comforting and uplifting. Powerful and beautiful.
