I really enjoyed this podcast and was sad when there didn’t seem to be any more episodes, but lo and behold, they are back! Of course I have not watched either of the two movies that they talked about so I’m going to have to watch those before listening to the new episodes. :)
But I enjoy the banter between you guys and I love the break downs of the movies. And of course, always love some true crime!
If you love a deep dive on the hour genre with a focus on funny, this is your podcast! I made my way through a few episodes and love the back and forth between everyone !
I started with the episodes on 2020’s Invisible Man and love the chemistry between the hosts. Now I need to rewatch the movie 😬. Subscribed!
This podcast became a favorite, five minutes into listening to it, for the first time. The hosts let their friendship spill into their banter and nothing feels forced. If you like horror movies or just want to try something new—give this one a listen!!
I came for the movies and stayed for the chemistry. A must podcast for any horror fan.
From moment 1 of listening, you can tell that Chris and Christin are passionate about their horror movies. Love listening to these two. Definitely worth checking out!
This podcast is a lot of fun! I’ve listened to horror movie pods before but never one like this, with the true crime twist! Great idea.
Really enjoy the open discussion and how knowledgeable the hosts Chris and Christin are with the content they talk about! They have a great dynamic and the conversations flow really well. Highly recommend giving this one a listen and subscribe!!
Great job Chris and Christin! I've listened through the Parasite series and I'm looking forward to the rest of your episodes. You broke down the movie very well and I'm excited to rewatch it, because you guys pointed out things I didn't see. The true crime epiosde was great as well. I'm subscribed!!
Using film as a backdrop to highlight statistics, history and true crime is very smart. Excellent way of oddly grounding the current popularity of true crime with art.
I really like horror movies and this pod has some really hot takes on them! Love the hosts keep up the good work! Z
I was attracted to this podcast because I love the Movie Pet Semetary and their tagline was right up my alley. They have fun opinions and the true crime portion of the podcasts are frequently spot on. Sometimes I feel like a little more research on the movies could be done before talking about them as I have heard many things said about the movies that they didn’t know but are pretty common knowledge. I would love to hear more facts.
Love this show. always keeps me interested and always look forward to new episodes
Great podcast!
So fun to listen to!
I have listened to every episode that has a movie associated with it that I’ve see before. Sometimes I see movies just so I can listen to their corresponding episode. Every episode is edited, apparently. I would never have known it. There are never any awkward cuts. Everything sounds natural and like a real-time conversation.
The theme song at the beginning is perfect for the kind of podcast this is. It’s in that minor key, and a couple of notes the vocalist sings are just a little bit und... more
