  • Your Saddle Isn’t the Issue… Your Life Choices Might Be

Cycling Demystified isn’t a polished studio production and it doesn’t pretend to be. The audio can be a little rough at times, but the information is rock solid. These guys have thousands of fits under their belts, and somehow every episode manages to teach me something useful… whether I want to learn it or not.

Wei plays the straight man, calmly walking things back to first principles in a nighttime radio DJ voice. The other guy (Matt? James? Phil? Fred?) is a full-time curmudgeon, questioning ... more

  • The Albion and Petrichor Project

Brilliant podcast. Passionate about cycling, getting in to (or back into) cycling - this podcast offers great insight. The conversation and knowledge is first class - yet even a total novice (like me) has taken something from each episode and enjoyed the listening to the series so far. Nice one

Q: Yeah. I was going to ask you if it was that element of self-discovery or not knowing that you could make it to the end of the ride—was that part of the adventure?
Originally I planned with a map string, focusing on end-to-end goals, but as I rode I realized it's more about how you get there and what you feel along the way—the day, the people, the weather, and the narrative that unfolds.
168 Should (Can) You Periodize Your Bike Fit?
Q: How often should you think about your interaction with the bike as you're riding?
You need to have an honest chat with yourself about managing your expectations based on how your body feels and the adjustments you may need to make to your bike fit.
87: Addressing Foot Numbness - Perspectives From A Rider & Bike Fitter
Q: How does experimenting with bike fit positions help?
It provides a frame of reference to find the optimal fit by comparing extremes.
87: Addressing Foot Numbness - Perspectives From A Rider & Bike Fitter
Q: What were your main concerns before starting the bike fit?

114: "Misguided by the Marketing of Bike Geometry" - PART 4: The 6 MODERN Bike Fit Mistakes
