  • Mum Killed It

Echoing everyone else, fascinating story! But for me, every time I heard “mum” I was taken out of it. Was her voice AI? British people don’t even annunciate mum like that.

  • I’m So Interested But…

I’m gonna push through because the story is fascinating but the daughter speaking from a script when she’s not an actress is painful to listen to. She’s trying, without acting experience, to sound thoughtful and off the cuff but these lines are clearly rehearsed so it really takes away from the authentic vibe of podcasting and why people listen. Another medium is best for her, and the host (who I LOVE), should have recognized the mismatch and spent more time making her comfortable enough to spea... more

  • Hmm

A very interesting crime but this seems like going against all of the wishes he made to his family on his death bed. I would have enjoyed it more if this focused only on him and the man searching for him. Seems like the daughter made this her claim to fame. The exaggerated cheesy emotion and AI voice. Like one big look at me moment she made about herself. I thought this was a pretty odd portrayal and honestly although related it really wasn’t her story to tell.

  • Interesting but leaves out some info

I liked listening to this but I feel like there are some details left out. Where did the money go?! All they ever say is it was “gone” and then they had lots of financial troubles. I just don’t understand that part and they don’t go into it at all.

  • Meh

Interesting, but hard to believe there was any deep emotional reason for the crime. He did it because he could. And the daughter’s narration is grating. Felt like a voice actress trying too hard.
