  • Redundant

This show was informative, yet biased (as the telling of most podcasts are). It appeared it could have been edited to 6-8 episodes with by eliminating the repeated quotes from the same persons over multiple episodes.

  • Not the best true crime podcast on racial inequity

The conceit of this podcast is that it's not just a true crime podcast, but one who addresses underlying injustices. The thing is, it's difficult to take the reporting seriously when the research was so poor that they weren't aware of the ever growing trend of podcasts addressing the same issues, in a deeper and better way.

  • Finally!

I am so thrilled to finally have a podcast I can listen to that isn’t two white cis women telling true crime stories. And this focuses on not just a broken, but shattered system. This is essential listening and has inspired me to get more involved in my community.

  • Boring

And you don’t need to attack other podcasts because yours is bad. No, they don’t laugh at tragedy on MFM.

    Don’t take yourself too seriously.

  • Disappointing

Such a fascinating story, but the producer/narrator gives too much unnecessary commentary and makes it too much about himself. The actual story doesn’t even start until midway through the first episode. Writing is full of cliches about the dark underbelly of glamorous Hollywood. Just tell me a good story.
