  • Wonderful understanding

Thank you for your devotion and passion for God’s Truth in the Bible. I haven’t been listening to your podcasts very long but I deeply appreciate your Passion and Clarity. I started listening to your evaluation of “new age” Christianity because of my own discernment of false teachers like R. Rohr. Many counselors = Wisdom. I struggle to grow, as we all do. Blessings.

Spiritual Warfare and the Armor of God
Q: What is spiritual warfare and what is the armor of God?
Spiritual warfare involves recognizing that the Christian life is a battle against spiritual forces of darkness, and the armor of God, as outlined in Ephesians 6, equips believers to stand firm through Christ's strength and righteousness.
Recognizing False Teaching
Q: How do we recognize false teaching?
By examining the motivations behind the teachings and ensuring they align with Scripture.
Delight in God’s Decrees: Part 6
Q: What do you do when you face trials?
You should call out to the Lord for help and pour out your heart to Him.
Delight in God’s Decrees: Part 6
Q: What are you hoping in today in the midst of whatever you're waiting on?
The focus should be on where your hope is anchored, whether it is in God and His Word.
Contemplative Spirituality and Why Christians Must Avoid It
Q: What is contemplative spirituality and why should Christians avoid it?
Contemplative spirituality is rooted in mysticism, often borrowing language from the Bible but fundamentally drawing practices from Catholic monasticism and Eastern religions. It encourages emptying the mind rather than engaging it with God's Word, which Jenkins argues can lead Christians away from truth and into deception.
