  • Deep Belly Laughs with Brilliant Self Dev

As someone who literally studies how humans deal with fear and inner resistance, I have a very low tolerance for self dev content that overpromises and underdelivers, so I am incredibly thrilled that Delanie Fischer is the exact opposite of that. She had me literally belly laughing out loud with her brilliant, irreverent humor and having lots of deep thoughts and a ha moments with her grounded in facts but instantly applicable teachings.

  • Contradicting

I find myself hearing them say “omg buy this” about something one week, then a few weeks later saying “that thing is expensive and not worth the money” difficult to trust what they have to say.

  • Feelings/Facts?

I used to enjoy listening to this podcast, but looking at some of the topics in hindsight has been disappointing. The health concepts are pseudoscience or whatever is most palatable to the audience. That’s fine, but it feeds into the “helpless” narrative instead of promoting discussion and growth. Also, might even lead to poor life choices. Things really went down hill after the Jillian Michaels backlash. I’ve explored a few decent books thanks to the podcast, but I can’t recommend it to anyone ... more

  • It’s fallen off

The early episodes were awesome, funny, and relatable. Now not so much. If they don’t have a guest it feels like they just keep making lists that are very similar to the previous lists. The advice also comes from a very privileged point of view that may not be very helpful to most people. For example I remember them saying to pay for your car in full or with cash…uh what? I miss the humor Taylor brought now it’s just one privileged white Chick talking about jobs and one privileged white Chuck t... more

Does God Exist? A Candid Conversation About Atheism, Agnosticism, Theism & Secularism with Phil Zuckerman
Q: Could we just start with a definition of agnosticism, atheism, theism, humanism, whatever you think is important and where you see many people unknowingly perpetuating false ideas around these concepts?
Phil outlines quick, practical definitions: atheism is lack of belief in God, agnosticism is uncertainty about knowledge of God, secularism is non-religious life, and humanism centers on human-focused ethics and progress; he notes the widespread confusion and baggage around terms and emphasizes everyday usage.
I Was Raised in a Cult: High-Control Groups Disguised as Therapy for Children & Families with Chase
Q: What resources or approaches have helped you most in rebuilding trust in yourself and moving forward?
Therapy (CBT), exposure to evidence-based practices, and education through books like Attached helped reframe attachment theory and inform how they work with families now.
I Was Raised in a Cult: High-Control Groups Disguised as Therapy for Children & Families with Chase
Q: What would you say to someone who is concerned about a loved one in a cult or high-control group and wants to help?
You can't force someone to change; express love and concerns, avoid blaming, provide support, and encourage them to seek evidence-based resources; it's up to the individual to decide to change.
Perimenopause, Menopause & Hormone Imbalance: Weight Gain, Brain Fog, Fatigue, Disease Risk, and Treatment Options with Dr. Jennifer Berman
Q: What would I be given as someone going through perimenopause?
A hormone panel to assess balance, potential cycling with progesterone, and possibly testosterone for deficiency, along with FDA-approved options like bioidentical estrogen and progesterone; telemedicine can help access labs and treatment when in-network care is limited.
Modern Masculinity: Men’s Mental Health, Nice Guy Syndrome & Behind Closed Doors with Kelvin Davis
Q: How did therapy change your approach to relationships and honesty?
Therapy helped me see how I was hiding truths and led me to practice honesty and transparency, setting boundaries and focusing on integrity.
